Tasting notes :
Colour : deep amber with mahogany highlights.
Nose : dense and expressive from the outset. Notes of dried fruit, toasted nut, leather, wax, candied fruit and blond tobacco. A noble rancio, slightly truffled, the signature of a Petite Champagne aged over time.
Palate : full-bodied and supple on the attack. The palate reveals notes of prune, fig, precious wood and cocoa, followed by spicier notes of cinnamon and tonka bean.
Finish : long and balanced, combining warmth and complexity without heaviness.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Cru : Petite Champagne.
Ageing : minimum 40 years in French oak barrels (Tronçais forest).
