Tasting notes :
Colour : brilliant and amber-coloured.
Nose : the remarkable lift seizes us on first nosing. The aromatic richness is delicately underpinned by sweet almond, then gives way to notes of orange peel and melted wood. A fine touch of fattiness, evidence of the presence of lees, rounds out this ensemble.
Palate and finish : It's intensity that is expressed first on the palate. Notes of wood mixed with fruit aromas gradually recede, making way for a distinctly singular final note of exotic fruits.
Ageing : 30 to 50 years old in French oak barrels.
